Help Us Cultivate Our Garden
Help us grow sustainably so we may support others to do social change work sustainably.
Our mission with this work is to support heart-first activists and social change communicators avoid burnout and build strategies that cultivate deeper connections the can lead to lasting social change.
I believe connecting with storytelling is how we shift our culture for a better future.
Our world is built on old stories that no longer serve our people or the planet. In order to create lasting change, we must uplift the unheard stories. There are far too many activists and organizations without the support or visibility in our modern tech & media environment. Our mission is to support and uplift those who are boldly organizing for a liberatory world.
Our organization's financial model is designed to bridge toward a decolonized view of work and value. The roots of change agency is built on a community-led model. Subscriptions and support allow us to create and release more resources for the whole community. The more we develop our work outside of capitalism and extractive models, the more we can live and build a better way of working. I hope that you will support me in this vision!

Assist An Activist Program
Activism is often defined differently by different people. I view activism in the broadest sense of the word, as a way of being and living in this world.
I founded this agency and media organization to harness my love of storytelling, 15 years of marketing & tech experience, and a lifetime of 'Good Trouble' to help under-resourced activists and organizations create impactful change starting with how they connect and communicate.
Many non-profits and activists don't have any extra money to spend on growth and learning. However, growth and learning from our past is crucial to build a vision for the future. (download flyers)

We believe that the work of change is for all of us. That’s why we aim to have our resources accessible and affordable to all.
Help us support activists, organizations, non-profits, & anyone working towards liberatory social change with resources, education, & support for their organizing, communications, & tech. Annual memberships unlocks more strategic planning with less burnout!
Our work is 100% reader-supported and not funded by grants, organizations, or investors. Paying members and donors are greatly appreciated and help fund our efforts so we can release more content for the whole community!

Who We've Directly Supported
Become a Supporter
We advocate for slow productivity as a way to intentionally build strategies to meet our world's largest crises.
We are flipping the script on supporter tiers! The bigger the support, the slower the tier.
In addition to each tier's perks, each supporter will be gifted memberships to the roots of change newsletter which includes exclusive newsletters, podcasts, videos, resources & workshops. Supporters can either share memberships with their community or we will help match each membership with a fellow activist from our complementary membership request list.
*note: merch will be shipped in late 2025
